Simphiwe Mabuya

Simphiwe Mabuya, better known by my his stage name Sim-TRB ( Tha Real Bhayinari).

He was trained in Speech & Drama as performing artist from UCT. He is also a play/script write and a director for theatre. This is lyrical creative was born and bred in a small location called Kwazakhele in Port Elizabeth, EC. He regards himself as a performing artist and a community worker who believes in empowering communities through Word power. Sim chose to employ Rhythm & Poetry as a tool to express his gift/ love for poetry. His writings will often, if not always, evoke mind blowing emotions, touch on thought provoking concepts with smooth, addictive and smart flow patterns over jazzy/boom-bap beats. His inspiration is mostly drawn from the type of community work that Sim has been involved in including own life experiences.

Sim has shared stages with the likes of: Abantu, Zulu Boy, Nahum, Usiba Noncwadi, Solitude, Zonke, Ian Kamau, Evesdrop, Zanzolo, Zaki Ibrahim, Architypes, Johny Craddle, Luka Lesson, Words Untame etc
