Ruth Mattison

Ruth obtained her MPhil (Futures Studies) – Cum laude from the University of Stellenbosch in 2000.  Her thesis topic being The Use of Communities of Practice in the Generation, Transfer and Application of Knowledge in the Post Industrial Age. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from UNISA and a Diploma for Educators of Adults-Cum laude at the University of Cape Town.  She co-ordinates and lectured a second year programme in Leadership and Self Development at TSiBA University.  Ruth also served as a Facilitator/Trainer for Training for Transformation on Organisation and Leadership Development as well as consultant in strategic development and assessment for NGO’s.  In 2012 she was a Project Manager for The Next Generation which was a pilot project to establish a community of practice for organizations working in the field of youth development. She was a guest facilitator and trainer on the Training for Transformation, an internationally recognised programme for community development in Africa.
